It was a very successful evening at Miller Intermediate on March 26th from 6 to 8 pm. It was truly a STEAM event for the school with numerous Arts & Crafts presentations, different Technology presentations and even a Fashion Show! But even with all the “competition”, we received our fair share of attention thanks to the efforts of our 11 club members who attended the event.
- Joe Dellinger- did an inside presentation on Discovering Asteroids
- Tony Wiese- was inside, talking to visitors, school staff and directing visitors to our indoor presentation and telescopes.
- Sean Carey- set up his 76mm Takahashi reflector. Viewing the Sun, Jupiter, Moon
- Richard Mannarino- set up his Dwarf Smart Scope. Capturing images of the Sun and Moon
- The Goldbergs- set up their Dob. Mainly focusing on the Moon.
- Mac Hooton and his brother Robin stayed in the scope area talking to visitors and directing traffic
- Harish Radhakrishnan (scope in reserve) floated between the inside presentation and the scope area engaging visitors
- Isabel Steffek floated between the inside presentation and the scope area engaging visitors
