The Fort Bend Astronomy Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with members volunteering to support FBAC’s mission. Members can volunteer to support the FBAC’s Outreach programs (Astronomy On Wheels and at the George Observatory) and also participate in FBAC events. 100% of dues goes to supporting our programs and direct club expenses. FBAC has no paid positions including club officers.

Membership in FBAC is open to anyone. There is no requirement other than an interest in astronomy and love of the night sky.

Dues are $30.00 per year for Regular Members (plus a $1.00 PayPal processing fee) and $5.00 each for Associate (family) Members. Membership for adult students (over 18) in college, trade school or other educational institution is $10.00 annually.
