Joe Dellenger and I answered Hannah Lange’s request to do some night viewing for a group camping at BBSP on March 28th, since the Observatory was sold out.
We did the observing at the park’s Nature Center, close to the sun dial. We entertained 24 enthusiastic parents and children from American Heritage Girls.
Joe set up his 105mm Traveler Astrophysics refractor and I used the Park’s 13 inch Obsession Dob.
We both treated them to sky tours and views of the Moon, Jupiter, M42, even Uranus.
It certainly was a fun evening for all of us!
