The FBAC Nomination Committee (Bill Dillon, Chris Morisette and Lee Higgins) is nominating the following members for election for a one year term starting in September 2025.
- President: Todd Dunnavant
- Vice President: Narahari (“Hari”) Rao
- Secretary: Wendy Walfoort
- Treasurer: Elizabeth (“Liz”) Prochnow
- Member-at-Large: Leonard Ferguson
Additional nominations can be made for these positions on or before 8/4/25. If you would like to throw your hat into the ring, please let either Bill Dillon, Lee Higgins, or myself know which office you are interested in running for and we’ll include you on the ballot.
Voting will take place electronically from 8/7 through 8/14, and the election results will be announced on 8/15 during the monthly astronomy meeting (and via email for those not in attendance).
NOTE about Non-Minor Associate Members
If you are a Regular Member and you have related non-minor Associate Members, please provide this notification to them. In many cases, we don’t have emails for your Associates. We need you to provide this information to them, so they are aware of the upcoming election. We will be reaching out to you via a separate communication, for email addresses for your non-minor Associates. We need this information so we can send the electronic ballots to them, as well as to you.
