FBAC Research Teams

Research is an important part of life in the Fort Bend Astronomy Club. While the club has a long history of identifying asteroids, new research avenues involving variable stars, occultations, and supernova and underway. Members are regularly involved in these searches.

FBAC also coordinates a team of club members who are available to search for the afterglow of gamma ray bursts. These are people who can, at a moments notice, be available to try to image these elusive objects.

All club members are welcome to participate in these team activities.
