"Volunteering" is as easy as joining our club, and showing up at the George Observatory or Astronomy On Wheels events, and manning a telescope or assisting with crowd control. No experience is necessary and volunteering has never been so much fun! After you fill out the New Member Application From and pay your annual dues, we will send a confirmation email with further info on how to volunteer at the George Observatory and how to join our email list (which is used to communicate upcoming activities, events, volunteer opportunities, telescope training dates and times, etc.). Just think, you (and your family!) are on your way to being members of an Astronomy Club!

Before submitting your Membership Application, please review the FBAC By-laws, FBAC Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Policy.
